Business In this session, a panel of Maine Technology Institute (MTI) grant recipients at various stages of development will discuss strategies for obtaining MTI grant funding, the benefits of working with MTI during the funding process, and the business goals and benefits achieved as a result of the MTI grant funding. The panel includes recipients of MTI seed grants, development awards, and Accelerated Commercialization Fund (ACF) financing.
MTI, a private, non-profit organization created and funded by the state of Maine, invests in promising technologies by funding research and development projects in the state's seven technology sectors:
- Information Technology
- Advanced Technologies for Forestry & Agriculture
- Aquaculture and Marine Technology
- Biotechnology
- Composite Materials Technology
- Environmental Technology
- Precision Manufacturing Technology
