Cloud computing is expected to benefit from the economic meltdown because of economies of scale, a pay-as-you-go model, reduced time to market, and, in some cases, a baked-in application stack.

This session will provide an overview of the cloud computing landscape and market, and is intended to provide guidance on how customers should evaluate and differentiate platforms. It will also include a discussion on best practices and common pitfalls of cloud based platforms, and a look at where they may or may not be appropriate for customer workloads.
