April 20-21, 2010 - 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) One-Day Program
April 22, 2010 - 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

The New Hampshire International Trade Resource Center (NHITRC) is excited to host this in-depth seminar featuring speakers from the U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and the U.S. Department of State Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC).   Export controls affect every U.S company; don?t miss this opportunity to learn about how these regulations apply to you!

Focus:
The BIS program will provide an in-depth examination of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and how it impacts exporters. It will also cover information exporters need to know to comply with U.S. export control requirements on commercial goods including applying for a license, ECCN determination, encryption controls and use of exemptions.

The DDTC one-day seminar will help clarify what the DDTC governs, what the U.S. Munitions List is, what it means for you if your product is ITAR classified, who needs to be registered with DDTC, how to complete a Commodity Jurisdiction request and how to apply for an export license when needed.

Participants are invited to attend the two-day BIS seminar, the one-day DDTC seminar, or the full three-day event.  For more information, contact the International Trade Resource Center in NH at 603-271-8444 or at http://www.exportnh.org/
