MTUG Webinar #1 -- Security Awareness in the Public Sphere

The nonprofit Maine Technology Users Group will host a free online webinar, Wednesday, October 5, 2016, from 11am to 12pm, featuring a panel of IT security professionals who will discuss challenges and best practices in the face of contemporary security threats to IT infrastructure.

Speakers will include Chris Dumais, IT Director for the City of Portland, and others to be announced who will share their experiences of managing an ever-changing threat landscape, while also educating employees and constituents. This is MTUG’s 1st of a 2-part series focused on security during October, National Cyber Security Month.

MTUG board members Austin Brower of FairPoint Communications, Kevin Heatley of Gorham Savings Bank and Uli Stewart of Vantage Point Recruiting developed the topic and panel of speakers, and will moderate discussion.
