Call for Entries: TechMaine’s Technology Awards to Recognize Maine’s Technology Community

TechMaine will highlight the incredible technology talent
we have within the State of Maine.

 

WESTBROOK, ME - May 18, 2010 - TechMaine, the Technology Association of Maine, announces the 2010 awards ceremony for Maine’s technology community will be held on June 30th in Portland at the Eastland Park Hotel Ballroom. The Technology Awards Gala will feature awards for technology companies large and small, and for the individuals that make it happen. This year’s event also includes the Best of the Web Awards. Deadline for nomination entries is June 11 at www.techmaine.com/awards-2010.

The Masters of Ceremony for this year’s event are Stephen and Fritz, the mad scientists at EepyBird.com. While they won’t be creating a Coke and Mentos fountain in the Ballroom…they will bring a unique brand of humor to an always fun event.

The program includes awards for companies as well as individuals. TechMaine will recognize both new and well-established companies. Individual awards will recognize the community leaders as well as outstanding members of the technical community.

All Maine technology companies are welcome to enter. Nominations are now being accepted at www.techmaine.com/awards-2010. The deadline for entry is June 11, 2010. TechMaine will present awards in the following categories:

  • Governor's Award for Technology Company of the Year
  • Gazelle Company
  • CxO of the Year
  • New Technology of the Year
  • Technology Innovator of the Year

The Best of the Web Awards are separated into four categories and awards will be presented in the following categories:

  • Corporate Image
  • Arts & Entertainment
  • Non-Profit
  • E-Commerce
