Portland Webworks secures GSA Multiple Award Schedule 70 Contract

After a rigorous application and review process, Portland Webworks is pleased to announce that they have recently been awarded a place on the Federal government's schedule of pre-approved vendors in the Information Technology arena. Portland Webworks began its application process in late 2008, and met the numerous requirements set forth by the government before entering final negotiations in late 2009. With the contract in place, Portland Webworks hopes to leverage the agreement to more actively pursue contracts at the Federal level. “While the GSA Contract doesn't come with any guarantee of business, we are confident that by going through this process we have opened the door into the Federal marketplace, and we will find a responsive audience for Portland Webworks' array of consulting, project management and custom development services“, says Tom Lovering, Portland Webworks' Director of Business Development. Since Portland Webworks also elected to participate in the government's Cooperative Purchasing Agreement, the agreement can be extended beyond Federal agencies to also benefit State and local governments and higher education organizations.
