TECH SPOTLIGHT: "Real-Time Remote Medical Transcription with Google Augmedix at Eastern Maine Health Systems" presented by Dr. Rafael Grossmann, trauma surgeon at EMHS.
... EMHS has recently started piloting Google Augmedix, based on Google Glass, to take real-time medical transcription during patient appointments. Dr. Grossmann is a full time trauma surgeon and a technology innovator who pioneered the world’s first application of Google Glass in surgery. More recently, he is participating in the Google Augmedix program at EMHS, made possible by Google Glass technology and quality high speed broadband connectity. Dr. Grossman will demonstrate its function and value in patient services and health data management.
