MTUG hosts last “Peers and Beers” event of the 2015-16 season at Oxbow Blending & Bottling Taproom in Portland -- co-sponsored by Blue Spruce Technologies!
Join us for a brief "Tech Spotlight" presentation "Technology Recycling for Good" by Chris Martin, Director, eWaste Alternatives.
MTUG’s Peers and Beers event is a chance for IT professionals and enthusiasts to network in an informal setting while learning about a unique technology topic. Chris Martin, Director of eWaste Alternatives at the nonprofit SKILLS Inc., and founder of the nonprofit ITE (Information Technology Exchange) and PCs for Maine technology literacy and access programs. He will describe the options businesses have for recycling technology to benefit multiple communities.
The event, generously co-sponsored by Blue Spruce Technologies, will be on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at Oxbow Brewery's Portland Tasting Room -- known as Oxbow Blending & Bottling, 49 Washington Avenue, Portland, ME.
The event will highlight MTUG’s efforts to build our 2016-17 season of educational webinars and networking events (held monthly Sept to May), which will cover a variety of business technology topics -- more info on these meetings, and how to participate, can be found at this link here.
