The nonprofit Maine Technology Users Group will host a free online webinar, Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 11am to 12pm, to explore ways of connecting to cloud services. In his talk, “Cables to the Cloud,” Ed Taggart of WEX will discuss connectivity options to Amazon Web Services (AWS), including VPN, Direct Connect Gateway and Inter-Region VPC Peering. The presentation will focus on real world challenges and how WEX is implementing their connectivity.
Speaker Ed Taggart, Senior Infrastructure Architect at WEX, has 30 years of experience in technology, with 20 years managing and designing enterprise network infrastructures. Mr. Taggart is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect, a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
