In conjunction with the Rotary Open World Program, E2Tech is excited to host five Ukrainian renewable energy professionals, who are spending time in Maine and seek to meet & make connections across the US.
Most are regulators or members of government. They hope to leave Maine with a greater understanding of renewable energy development in the US, especially planning & regulatory matters. The Delegation also looks to share their professional expertise with others.
In attendance will be:
Andrii Chaichevskyi - Deputy Director General for Trading - Organization: Market Operator Company (roughly equivalent to ISO-NE)
Vladyslav Maksadov - Director, Renewable Energy, Ministry of Energy of Ukraine
Oleksandr Mykhailovskyi - Head of Division of Alternative and Renewable Electricity, Development of the Electricity Market Support, National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC)
Yurii Silchenko - Energy Director, Ministry of Energy of Ukraine
Iryna Zolotoverkha - Department Head, National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC)
We will also be convening a smaller roundtable discussion on Tuesday April 25 at 3PM. E2Tech members with an interest in meeting and possibly working with European energy regulators are encouraged to attend. Please email marty@e2tech.org for details.
We are seeking a venue for the Thursday April 27 networking event -- ideas and suggestions welcome.
Please save the date for both of these exciting networking opportunities!
