Security Awareness for Maine Businesses – A Panel Presentation

The Maine Technology Users Group is hosting a free online webinar Wednesday, November 18, from 11am to 12pm, featuring a panel of local security experts who will detail security awareness and training tips, stories, and techniques that are useful for a broad array of Maine businesses.

Jeremy Clough of the Gorham Savings Bank Risk Management Group will share tips on creating and maintaining an information security program at a small or medium sized business.

Randy Porter, IT Director with Alexander & Schmidt will present on "Security Awareness for Small Companies” and will discuss how IT managers without a formal security staff can sustainably raise employee security awareness.

Eugene V. Slobodzian, VP of Security at Winxnet will share his experiences in delivering social engineering testing in financial institutions.

MTUG board members Kevin Heatley of Gorham Savings Bank and Uli Stewart of Vantage Point Recruiting helped to bring this session together.
