Tech Community "Peers & Beers" Celebrates Maine's User Groups!

MTUG Peers & Beers co-sponsored by Rolta Advizex

This new special "Peers & Beers" spotlights Maine's various Tech User & Ed Groups -- Co-Sponsored by Rolta Advizex!

MTUG is dedicating our annual Lewiston "Peers & Beers" event to highlight the diverse community of nonprofit technology groups! Five groups will briefly present their missions and activities, and be on hand for questions, information and networking, including:

  • ISC2 Maine Chapter (security)
  • Bangor Information Security Professionals
  • Agile Maine
  • Project>Login

Do you want your group to be part of our event? Email Kate (kcarpenter@mtug.org) with details, and bring flyers! We probably won't have more time for speakers, but are happy to point your members out and display materials at the MTUG information table.

MTUG will also highlight the upcoming 30th Annual I.T. Summit & Tradeshow to be held May 31.

FMI, and to pre-register for one free Peers & Beers drink ticket, visit the event page here:

This event was created by MTUG's volunteer Outreach Committee to bring attention to Maine's broad array of tech groups bringing education and networking opportunities to Maine's community of technology professionals and enthusiasts. Board members Abbie Brown (Bowdoin College) and Uli Stewart (Vantage Point Recruiting) coordinated the event.
