Bootstrapping

Bootstrapping is using any means possible to obtain resources other than borrowing money or raising capital. Common examples of bootstrapping include: minimizing personal expenses, investing profits back into the business, sharing office space or other resources with other businesses, leasing equipment rather than buying, and sourcing items at a significant discount.
